The Kenya Kona live event is geared to be a monthly show of quality entertainment and recreation where Kenyan comedy, Kenyan Music and Kenya Poetry converge for a premier indigenous performance and experience.
Kenyan comedy continues to grow, embracing new formats and digital platforms while maintaining its roots in satire and cultural storytelling. Since 2011, Kenya Kona contributed to the evolution of Kenyan comedy by nurturing raw comedians through a structured auditioning and orientation process to the comedy industry by establishing premier comedy platforms of which to showcase their talent.
Kenya Kona Live events blend live music to anchor other artistic performances on stage notably comedy and poetry, creating a unique entertainment experience. Kenya Kona Live events feature indigenous musicians that anchor spoken word performers and comedians alike, making each event a diverse cultural showcase. More so, we also produce musicians by facilitating their music production and support rehearsal workshops to grow their talent.
Kenyan poetry is a vibrant and evolving art form that blends traditional oral storytelling with modern literary expression which Kenya Kona Group adopts to uplift the country's deep roots in oral traditions, and create a performance heritage that performing artists can identify with through generations.

A proactive youth mentorship program facilitated by Kenya Kona Group to instill a culture of sobriety (prevention of drug abuse) and environmental stewardship at an early age through the use of performance arts and contemporary techniques, mainly conducted at the high school and primary school level.
The Nairobi Eco Walk is an initiative under the R2A program. The walk is gearing for its fifth edition on 5th July 2025 since its inception in 2016 and has over the years realized the planting of close to 10,000 trees and cleaned up approximately 15 tonnes of litter along its course-way during the event day.
