Kenya Kona Group (KKG) is a social enterprise incorporated on 5th February 2009 under the Kenya Companies Act (Cap.486) as a limited company, based in Wood Avenue, Kilimani, Nairobi.
Kenya Kona Group uplifts
indigenous talent and provides documented event platforms. Coupled with this, the company has a
comprehensive volunteer management system that has established a vibrant
program called the R2A (Refuse to Abuse) which promotes sobriety and a
positive, environmentally conscious attitude in life for young minds.
The group organizes premium live events hosted at reputable venues featuring seasoned artistic talent of the comedy, poetry and live music genres including alternative entertainment for audience participation, which can also be packaged for media broadcast. Coupled with this, the company has a comprehensive artist management profile that entails a database of 12 artists of different genres.
To gives back to society is instilling sobriety and environmental
stewardship in our National Development agenda through youth upliftment
Since inception in 2009 Kenya Kona shows have
managed to achieve mainstream status on live stage and television, having been
aired on both Citizen TV and KTN in 2012 & 2013. The Company has also
staged countrywide tours including major cities like Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu
and Eldoret with quarterly shows still running to date.
